I had a dream like that about my Mom after she died. (We all seem to reach out in dreams in our family). It was Mom, my oldest daughter Rachel, who she helped raise until she got sick ( when Rachel was almost 7), and me. We were some kind of amusement park/Victorian Village. We had lived in Northern CA for awhile, and that's where her ashes, and my Dad's are. Anyway, at the end of the dream, we were getting near the exit, and she turned and looked at me and said 'Do I have to be sick now?' I just looked at her and shook my head, no. When she was in ICU the doctor she had was Rachel's teacher's husband, and the surgeon would come in and say, 'i'm praying for you'. and she'd say 'Thanks'. She was raised Catholic, but we never went to church. When she died, she was alone-she probably told the nurses not to call us when her breathing got rough. We had seen her the day before. So I struggle, wondering if I will see her in heaven. I hope so, but I don't know. Same with my Sister, Cathy and Brother, Mitchie. Life's too short as it is. God gives us wonderful gifts everyday. Thank you Brian, for reminding me. God Bless us all.

Quite often God will speak to us in dreams as there are no other distractions. It's a private audience and time for one on one. It's also a place where we can connect with those long gone. It's good that you were able to see this as a gift.

Thanks Brian. That's awesome.

I'd have to say that like you, especially lately, my life is most often a sweet little pain in the ___ to those around me. Maybe thinking of it in this particular way will help me remedy that a bit. It would be a pretty sweet gift to my family this Christmas if I could!
